Description
The French Catheter Scale offers a practical solution with clearly marked French catheter sizes on each side. All types of internal urinary catheters, such as Foley and intermittent catheters, adhere to a standard gauge system known as the French size. This sizing system is determined by measuring the external diameter of the catheter tube. To find the French size, simply multiply the diameter in millimeters by 3. This straightforward calculation ensures accurate sizing for all catheter types.
